Hi there, I’m Helena and in my early 20s, I had my first experience with a living cat.
By sheer coincidence I rescued 3 tiny kittens, who were no more than 3 days old and without their cat mom...
There was absolutely no chance they would survive without the appropriate human caretaker.
Right there I decided to become their “mother” and bottle feed them. I named the boys Koki and Oli and the girl became Olive.
Despite all the cute moments in their growing up phase, our home soon became a battleground for three rambunctious felines. I tried all the advice I could find. Finally, I decided to find new homes for the boys, but decided to keep Olive within our home.
I thought that was it—all my problems solved. Boy, was I wrong.
